A Splash of Red
I was recently looking across blogs posts for inspiration for a design; colour was what called out to me. What colour did I (predictably) pick for February? Red. So yeah I fell for it and let Valentine's day take over the focus of the entire month on FreeImages!

A look back at the Best of 2015
Lots of excellent images were uploaded to freeimageslive last year, and some major updates to the site and search have made real improvements for visitors. We've also done lots of work properly cataloguing our house image collection to make images easier to find.
As we've done at this time of year before, here's a retrospective of some or our favourite user uploads
The images here were selected for several reasons, technical merit, usefulness as stock photos, and in some cases just the emotional response they generated.

15 Years of FreeImages
It's our 15th Birthday!
We've added a new party image gallery to celebrate.
We are currently in the process of refreshing all the galleries on freeimages.co.uk with some new images, plus better description and search tags. We're also adding a new home page and search system.
Summer Gardens
The summer season is almost here, time to tidy the garden, trim the borders and prepare for a summer of warm evenings and "outdoor living"... If the summer weather lets us that is.
