Lots of excellent images were uploaded to freeimageslive last year, and some major updates to the site and search have made real improvements for visitors. We've also done lots of work properly cataloguing our house image collection to make images easier to find.
As we've done at this time of year before, here's a retrospective of some or our favourite user uploads
The images here were selected for several reasons, technical merit, usefulness as stock photos, and in some cases just the emotional response they generated.
Thanks to all those who use the site and an even greater thank you to those who have shared their photos. 2016 promises to be a corker of a year!
